L’essence Day Spa & Salon is the only Aveda Concept Salon in Northern Nevada and is owned and operated by local, 3 eco-minded women whose belief in sustainability, a strong local community and the preservation of Reno’s Downtown Historic District, was born in 1990.

The vision was and is, to create a beautiful and nurturing environment that uses only the highest quality, environmentally friendly Aveda products in the skilled hands of highly trained professionals.

Located in an elegant Victorian Manor in historical area of downtown Reno (now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places), we think of ourselves as the “Sanctuary Around the Corner,” and are here to help you celebrate your inner and outer beauty, while soothing your soul and awakening your senses.
